Blogger of the Week: Britney

Hi. My name is Britney. I am 8 years old and my birthday is in July. I enjoy having my birthday in July because I can go swimming with my friends. I have great birthday parties when I can go swimming.

My favorite sport is soccer because I have a lot of fun playing it and I get to spend time with my friends. I am very good at it. Right now, I am playing soccer indoors. I am also playing next season too. I score some goals and my teammates score goals too. 

One of my favorite things to do is piano. I know how to pay all kinds of songs. Some of them are Amazing Grace, Let It Go, and Fur Elise. Right now, I am practicing the song Reflection from Mulan. My piano teacher is Ms. Cindy and she teaches me all of those songs. She can even play without paper!

Now here are some things about my family. I have a little brother David and he is very funny. My mom and dad are very kind and funny too. My parents help me with my homework and help me study for tests besides spelling tests. 

My family and I like to go to Disneyland when I have breaks. We stay at my grand aunt's apartment. We go to Disneyland at 9:00 am and come home at 11:00 pm! We go on all kinds of rides and get fastpasses for many rides. Our family also watches parades and shows. We also get autographs from disney characters.

Blogger of the Week: James

Hi, my name is James and this is my class blog.  I will turn 9 in late July.  I will have my birthday at Sky High Sports.  My favorite sport is baseball.  I have played since I was 4 years old.  

One of the things I like to do is play piano.  A couple days ago I finished the level 1 book.  On of my favorite things to do is read.  A series that I’m interested in is Spirit Animals. A place I like to go to is the library.  I like to go there because you can borrow books for free. 

Now I will tell you about my family.  I have a little brother named Lucas who is very funny.  

In addition to him I have a mom & dad who are very fun and nice. 

One thing me and my family like to is go on vacation in maui. When  we go there we visit our grandparents and stay in their condo.  

But this year we’re staying in their Florida condo over spring break.  I’m excited because I’ve never seen or been to their Florida condo.

Academic Update: February 20th, 2015

It has been so long since we have blogged! We have been so busy this year so far! Here is a small glimpse of what we've been doing in 3rd grade!

English Language Arts
This week we earned our ice cream party because everyone passed their multiplication tests. -Audrey
We are working on writing our desert comparatives  -James

Blogger of the Week: Isaac

Hi my name is Isaac. 

On February 16^th I turned 9 years old. I got silly with my cousin's and wrote all over my face. 

I got like $300 for my b-day! I was able to get a new bike and my brother made a pen for my present to do tricks with. My brother is 15 years old and he is tall and funny. Sometimes he is mean to me. Me and him play our favorite sport soccer we are really good together.

My best friends are Dominic, Keylen, Matthew and Jordan. We are really good at football, me and Keylen are unstoppable.

Everyone in my family is a 49er's fan. We went to 2 different games at the old stadium. I hope one day we can go to the new Levi's Stadium to watch a game.

Blogger of the week: Deonta

Hi my name is Deonta and on Sunday February 8^th I’m turning 9 years old and I can’t wait.

I have a little brother and sister and their names are Davina and Adonis. Davina is 4 and Adonis is 3 and I have lots of fun with them.

My favorite things to do in school are math and reading. Right now I am reading The Lemonade War and it is really funny.

My favorite sport is basketball because you get to score, pass, rebound and assist. I have been playing in the CYBL basketball league for 4 years and I am very good at it. We have won the championship more than once and I am always picked to play in the All Star game. One day I am going to be a professional basketball player.

My favorite game to play on my IPad is Mine craft because you get to build houses and escape from creepers.

My favorite Pokémon is Mega Charizard because it’s a powerful card that you can use to defeat people. I have many more Pokémon cards to collect, hopefully I will get some for my birthday.

My world’s favorite desserts are brownies, cookies and cupcakes.

I like to do fun things on the weekends like swimming, playing with my brother and sister, amusement parks, and anything else that is fun to do.

I love my family because I learn a lot of new things from them, they are sweet and they take care of me. I am happy this is my family.
